Match the ink to the TPU surface
Choose TPU screen printing ink by the actual surface, layer construction and target test; keep transfer printing as a separate process.
Browse English TDSTPU screen printing ink: choose the grade and complete system
Manufactured in China for footwear factories and distributors serving India. Compare HTPU water-based footwear printing ink with the separately documented solvent-based TPU screen printing route. Select for the actual TPU surface, printed layers and required adhesion or flex test. Trial samples are free; the customer pays postage.
7ST document status: 7ST remains an existing website series label. Neither of the two supplied PDFs names 7ST or confirms which technical entry represents it. Do not assign the generic solvent TPU entry or its parameters to 7ST without grade confirmation.
HTPU and solvent-based TPU ink: reference data
| Information | HTPU printing ink | Documented solvent TPU screen ink |
|---|---|---|
| Source identity | Named HTPU entry: YR-TDS-041, physical page 45 | Generic TPU Screen Printing Ink: YR-TDS-051, physical page 55; no 7ST name |
| System and use | Water-based polyurethane printing ink; TPU and footwear materials are listed | Two-component solvent-based polyurethane ink for screen printing on TPU |
| Stated packaging | 5 kg and 20 kg pails | 4 kg and 16 kg for the documented entry; not confirmed 7ST packaging |
| Stated shelf life | 6 months | 12 months for the documented entry; not confirmed 7ST shelf life |
| Hardener | Required; full model and addition basis not stated | Required; full model and addition basis not stated |
| Drying information | Air drying stated; complete drying and final-conditioning schedule not given | Low-temperature baking mentioned; temperature and duration not given |
| Performance qualification | Reported adhesion and flex properties need the applicable method, material and conditions | Several test methods or acceptance results are incomplete; thermal cycling is not a cold-flex result |
Basis: supplied Yunrui English TDS edition 1.1, 2 November 2026, physical pages 45 and 55. YR-TDS numbers locate documents; they are not product model codes. Confirm the current supplied grade, storage conditions and batch dating. Shelf life is not the working time after mixing.
Select for TPU ink adhesion and flex cracking
If the print lifts or separates: identify whether failure is at the TPU surface or between printed layers, and whether it appears before or after forming. Record the actual surface finish, treatment, basecoat, colour ink, clear finish and hardener. Use the TPU ink adhesion troubleshooting guide to prepare a comparison before changing products.
If the print cracks during bending: identify the affected layer and record the test temperature, conditioning, cycles and acceptance criterion. Compare the complete original construction and agreed candidate under the same test conditions. Use the TPU ink flex-cracking guidance; an ink category or a result on another material does not establish a pass on yours.
Keep screen-printing ink, TPU Paint and transfer-printing products separate. A catalogue cold-flex value and a thermal-cycling entry describe different evaluations; neither establishes an interchangeable rating or an approved 7ST cold-flex claim.
Confirm before mixing or production
- 7ST identity: full supplied model and its current TDS / SDS remain to be confirmed.
- Companion materials: obtain the approved hardener, addition basis, mixed-product working time, basecoat and clear finish. The catalogue lists TPU101A / B / C and WPN-505 / 505A but does not match them to 7ST or HTPU.
- TPU treatment: the catalogue names YR-31; the existing website uses SQ-31 and the treatment TDS has no grade name. Their correspondence and ink-system pairing remain unconfirmed.
- Production and test conditions: viscosity units and measurement conditions, complete drying and final conditioning, storage conditions and the exact adhesion or cold-flex test scope need current grade-specific confirmation.

| Water-Based HTPU Ink | Screen printing | Named HTPU water-based printing ink; supplied edition 1.1, YR-TDS-041, physical page 45. Confirm the actual TPU surface and full system. | Download PDF |
| TPU Solvent-Based Screen Ink | Screen printing | Generic solvent-based TPU screen ink, YR-TDS-051, physical page 55. Its correspondence to 7ST is not established. | Download PDF |
| TPU Transfer-Printing Ink | Transfer printing | Separate transfer-printing route, YR-TDS-055, physical page 59; do not use its process settings as direct screen-printing instructions. | Download PDF |
| TPU Surface Treatment Agent | Surface preparation | Unnamed TPU treatment entry, YR-TDS-010, physical page 14; grade identity and approved pairing with the ink need confirmation. | Download PDF |
The downloads are SC technical review copies, Revision 01, 2 November 2026. The reference comparison above follows the separately supplied Yunrui English TDS edition 1.1. Request the current exact-grade TDS and SDS for the ink and hardener before mixing or production; a download title does not establish a 7ST model match.

Choose a printing route for your TPU component
HTPU is named in the supplied English TDS as a water-based polyurethane printing ink for TPU and footwear materials. The same collection has a separate two-component solvent-based TPU screen ink entry. The existing website uses 7ST for a solvent-based route, but neither supplied PDF names 7ST or establishes its correspondence to that technical entry. Confirm the full supplied grade and current TDS before selecting the complete preparation, ink and finishing system.
| Series | Printing system | Discuss before ordering a sample |
|---|---|---|
| 7ST | Existing website solvent-based series label; current document mapping unconfirmed | Confirm the exact grade and TDS. Do not transfer the generic solvent TPU entry, TPU Paint or transfer-ink parameters to 7ST without confirmation. |
| HTPU | Water-based polyurethane printing ink; supplied YR-TDS-041, physical page 45 | Identify the TPU surface and full layer construction. Confirm the hardener, basecoat or clear finish, drying and final conditioning for this printing ink. |
Plan a trial on your actual material
TPU films and moulded components can behave differently during printing and flexing. A sample of the finished construction helps us review the complete ink system.
- Material: TPU form, surface finish and any existing coating.
- Process: screen printing method, drying equipment and subsequent forming or bonding.
- Target: required appearance, adhesion and flex test, including temperature where relevant.
Common questions
Can 7ST be used for every low-temperature application?
No universal low-temperature claim can be made. The supplied PDFs do not identify 7ST or confirm a grade-specific cold-flex rating. Include the actual TPU surface, complete printed construction, test temperature, conditioning, cycles and acceptance criterion so a suitable trial can be agreed.
Which HTPU product should I request?
Request HTPU water-based footwear printing ink for a colour-printing enquiry and identify the product described by YR-TDS-041. Keep colour-ink instructions separate from coating, clear-finish, paint or transfer-printing products. Confirm the exact companion products for the selected material and layer sequence.
Request a TPU ink sample or technical data
Tell us the TPU material and surface finish, printed layers, failure stage and required adhesion or flex test. Request the current TDS and SDS for the exact ink and hardener. For a 7ST enquiry, confirm its full model-to-document correspondence first; the generic solvent TPU sheet is not proof of that identity.
Samples, mixed orders and delivery to India
Trial samples are free; you pay postage or courier charges. The minimum bulk order is 2 metric tonnes in total, with mixed ink orders supported. Confirm the assortment with our team.
Production normally completes within one week after order placement. Sea freight takes approximately one month to an Indian port, separately from production; customs clearance and inland delivery are not included in that estimate.
Prices depend on your customised ink requirements. Share the material, intended process, colours, quantity and delivery city/PIN code on WhatsApp for a quotation.
Buying for resale? Review distributor supply information. Need technical documents? Request the TDS and SDS for your exact grade.
