YR water-based colour ink series
The product catalogue lists three water-based colour inks. Choose the finish to discuss, then confirm suitability on your actual footwear material.

Model names refer to the water-based colour inks in the catalogue. HTPU has its own TDS. H37B and H37C remain website labels awaiting grade identification; no equivalence with YR-A, YR-B or YR-C is established.

Technical-reference basis: Yunrui English edition 1.1, 2 November 2026. YR-TDS identifiers locate sheets in that collection; they are not new product model codes. H37B and H37C are retained as existing website labels; their full product identities, current parameters and matching documents remain to be confirmed.
For EVA screen printing, the supplied YR-TDS-037 identifies YR-E as a water-based EVA screen ink. Review the EVA screen-printing and separate sole-spray options; keep earlier spray-edition references separate from the selected grade's instructions.
Hardener, drying and performance information to confirm
The supplied YR-A, HTPU and water-repellent nylon sheets require a hardener but do not name its full model. The catalogue lists WPN-505 and WPN-505A separately without a colour-ink matching table. Request the selected ink's approved hardener, addition basis, working time and compatible basecoat or clear finish.
YR-A has different reported pull-test loads in the two sources: at least 3.5 kg in the catalogue and at least 5 kg in YR-TDS-038. The test methods and conditions do not establish a direct comparison. Keep those source values separate and agree on the actual material test and acceptance criteria; neither is a universal adhesion rating.
The YR-A sheet describes air drying or an oven option without a complete drying duration. Obtain the current grade-specific drying and final-conditioning instructions. A water-based system still needs a verified production trial; do not apply one schedule to every material or ink.
- YR-A and YR-B clear coats are separate catalogue categories from the same-name colour inks. Keep layer function, product name and document together.
- YR-B/C colour-ink packaging, shelf life and standalone TDS, full hardener pairings, viscosity measurement conditions, storage conditions and current SDS remain to be confirmed.
- Special-effect products have their own source checks. The supplied glow-ink sheet flags its water-based designation for confirmation; it is not part of the confirmed colour-ink comparison above.
Prepare a footwear ink trial around the production problem
Include the material name and surface finish, ink model, basecoat and topcoat sequence, required colours and finish, printing method and target test. If the issue is screen clogging, peeling after forming or flex cracking, record when it first appears and keep a reference print and a failed piece from the same material batch. These details help our factory team review an existing ink candidate or assess a custom trial.
Frequently asked questions
Does water-based mean no curing or conditioning is needed?
No. YR-A and HTPU have grade-specific drying instructions. The YR-A sheet also lists a 65 °C oven option without a drying time. Confirm the selected grade's hardener, drying duration and conditioning requirements before testing.
Can I mix any water-based basecoat with any solvent-based colour?
Do not assume compatibility between layers. For the water-repellent nylon ink, YR-TDS-049 says not to mix it with solvent-based inks. Confirm the approved basecoat, colour ink, hardener and layer sequence for your actual material before a trial.
Are YR-A, YR-B and YR-C equivalent to HTPU, H37B or H37C?
No equivalence table is supplied in the two reference documents. HTPU has a separate technical sheet; the supplied collection does not provide H37B or H37C colour-ink parameters. Keep the full product name and category on the document and trial request.
Can I use YR-A or YR-B clear-coat data for the colour ink?
No. The catalogue lists same-name clear coats separately from the coloured printing inks. Confirm the complete product name and layer function before using viscosity, recoating or compatibility information.
