Match the ink to the nylon fabric finish
Water-repellent nylon, woven nylon and open mesh present different printing surfaces. Include the fabric finish specification when you enquire, especially for water-repellent or anti-wicking materials.
| Selection point | Product options | Application distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Solvent-based colour ink | 37B / 37C | 37B is the waterproof-nylon ink category; 37C is the nylon ink category. Compare them on the actual fabric. |
| Woven nylon or MONO construction | HT-2 basecoat | A water-based nylon basecoat route shown for woven nylon and MONO materials. |
| Water-repellent or anti-wicking fabric | HXL / HT-2 basecoats | The treatment guide identifies solvent-based HXL and water-based HT-2 routes for these fabric finishes. |
| Nylon mesh pretreatment | SQ-363 | The treatment range includes a nylon-mesh application. Confirm whether pretreatment is needed for your construction. |
Check the complete printed construction
Review the basecoat, colour layer and finish together. Yunrui case notes identify layer compatibility and the interval between coats as possible causes of delamination. The material guide also distinguishes ordinary mesh from woven and treated fabrics.
For colour bleeding, include the fabric colour and any heat-processing step. For peeling, show which layer separates and when the failure occurs.
Review adhesion problemsApplication questions
Is 37B the same product as H37B?
No. 37B is a solvent-based ink in the nylon range. H37B is listed separately as a water-based printing ink. Use the complete model name when requesting documents or samples.
Can I select a nylon ink from the fabric name alone?
The fabric name is a starting point. Surface treatment, weave, basecoat and later processing also affect the trial. A representative fabric sample helps the team review the combination.
