Interpret the source case correctly
Do not combine the corrective steps from separate cases into one recipe. A documented failure of one mixed system does not prove that every water-based/solvent-based pairing behaves identically. Ask the technical team to review the actual layer sequence.

Keep a record of the material, complete layer sequence and evaluation method. Change only the part of the process agreed with the technical team, then compare against the original construction under the same test conditions. A sample trial should establish suitability before a production change.
